Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act), you (the "Data Principal") have the following enforceable rights with respect to the personal data Quick Forex Limited (the "Data Fiduciary") holds about you. This page is our explicit notice to you as required under Section 11.
1. Right to information (§11)
You can request a clear, plain-language summary of:
- The personal data we hold about you
- The purposes for which it is processed
- The categories of third parties with whom it is shared
- How long we will retain it
- Whether it is or will be transferred outside India
We respond within 15 business days of receiving a verified request.
2. Right to correction & erasure (§12)
You can ask us to correct inaccurate or outdated personal data, complete incomplete data, or erase data that is no longer necessary. We honour erasure requests subject to legal retention obligations — specifically the 8-year retention mandate for transaction records imposed by RBI Master Direction on Customer Due Diligence and the Prevention of Money Laundering Act, 2002. Where erasure is restricted by law, we will tell you which law applies and when erasure becomes possible.
3. Right to grievance redressal (§13)
If you believe we have mishandled your data, your first step is to raise a complaint with our Grievance Officer:
- Name: Company Secretary, Quick Forex Limited
- Email: companysecretary@quickforex.in
- Phone: +91 98916 64241
- Postal address: Flat 110, Arunachal Building, 19 Barakhamba Road, Connaught Place, New Delhi 110001
- Response SLA: 30 days from receipt
If the Grievance Officer's response is unsatisfactory, you may escalate to the Data Protection Board of Indiaonce it is operationalised by the Government of India.
4. Right to nominate (§14)
You may nominate any individual to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of your death or incapacity. To register a nominee, email our Grievance Officer with a signed nomination letter and a copy of the nominee's PAN.
5. Right to withdraw consent (§6(4))
Where processing relies on your consent (e.g., marketing emails, analytics cookies, advertising pixels), you can withdraw it at any time. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing prior to withdrawal. Note that consent withdrawal cannot be used to escape RBI-mandated KYC retention or transaction-audit obligations.
6. How to exercise your rights
Send a written request to dpo@quickforex.infrom the email address registered with your Quick Forex account, or post a signed letter to the Connaught Place address above. We may ask for additional ID-verification (selfie + PAN) for sensitive requests to protect you from impersonation.
7. No fee for first request
Your first request in any 12-month period is free. Subsequent requests within the same period may incur a reasonable fee capped at ₹500 per request, charged only to cover administrative cost.
8. Children & persons with disability (§9)
We do not knowingly process personal data of individuals below 18 years of age. Student remittances are processed in the parent or guardian's name and bank account. For Data Principals with disability, all rights above may be exercised by a lawful guardian on production of a guardianship certificate.
9. Breach notification (§8(6))
In the event of a personal-data breach affecting you, we will notify the Data Protection Board and you, in the manner and within the timeline prescribed by the Board, with details of the breach, its likely consequences, and the remedial measures we have taken.
